Event Update – Saturday am: The Met Office have downgraded the yellow weather warning to ‘heavy rain and a moderate breeze’. We will be going ahead as planned. Please ensure you bring adequate clothing, there is ample bag drop space for additional gear.
2017 was a fantastic success and raised over £1,600 for Graffham and Duncton Schools. We are very pleased to report that this money has been spent on the outdoor learning spaces at both schools, providing the pupils with much needed additional facilities.
The Graffham Run 2018 aims to build on last years’ success and assist the schools fund raising objectives. Whilst funding remains in a critical state we want to do all we can to ensure that our local schools continue to thrive even in a difficult financial climate. So all the money we raise from the event will go directly to the schools.
And what better way of raising money than a good dose of exercise! So put the date in your diary, grab your trainers and join us for 5k or 10k or the Junior Fun Run. See you there!
A word from Helen Martin, Head Teacher………
The Graffham run was a success in two ways, it brought the school community together with runners from all over the local area. It also gave us much needed funds to improve our outdoor learning environments at both schools. It was a fantastic event which we all loved: children, parents, staff and the community. Looking forward to the next one!
